Of these features, the most valuable is probably the "Taint of Greatness," which contains in-depth interviews with the show's creators, most notably Mike Judge. Special Appearances: -Beavis and Butt-Head Yule Log Clips -Letters to Santa Butt-Head -2005 VMAs.Featurette: Taint of Greatness: The Journey of Beavis and Butt-Head, Part 3.The Special Features on the third disc include: Other fun segments include their commentary on the Salt 'N' Pepa video ("Why doesn't she show her thingies?"), their absolute love of Sonic Youth, their hatred for Poison, and their adoration of PJ Harvey in a dress. The classic of the bunch is the Crowbar video, which the pair concludes is a "workout video for skinny people." You watch the video and eat and gain weight. Salt 'N' Pepa (featuring En Vogue): "Whatta Man".Score: 5 out of 10 Extras As with the first two Volumes of this series, disc three houses the special features and a hand-picked selection of classic B&B videos. Still, the audio in general is rather underwhelming. The third disc includes several of the music videos, and does a good job of mixing the dialogue and music. Most of the first two discs is simply dialogue, and for those purposes, the audio is fine. The Audio The exact same comments from Volume 2 also apply here: Although better than the video, the audio will not blow anyone away. Since it is a TV show that existed before any of them were in widescreen, the Mike Judge collection is presented in full screen, as it was originally intended. The only exception to the video problems comes on the third disc, which contains some later-era B&B materials. The colors have a tendency to look muddy and washed-out, and artifacting occurs throughout. Although the theme eps like "Leave it to Beavis" are reaching a little, there is greatness in "Bride of Butt-Head" and the amazing "Beavis and Butt-Head Are Dead." Score: 9 out of 10 The Video As with Volumes 1 and 2, there is grain and smudging in the original animation. The second disc contains some classic episodes, indeed.
